Fire Department News & Activities

The Kerns Fire Department is composed of volunteer firefighters. If you wish to join the brigade, please contact the Fire Chief, Mr. Mark Lenover.

The Kerns Fire Department and the Township of Kerns are now in compliance with the public education and fire prevention requirements of Clause 2(1)(a) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act. Russ Johnston from the Office of the Fire Marshal presented the Township with a Certificate of Compliance on the regular council meeting of April 4, 2006.
